Trees that are reported to city parks will receive a reference number, and each tree can also be wrapped in tape that informs public that the tree is due for removal – the tape can be dated and the reference number written on it for public reference.
“5. City Parks permission to remove a dead tree”
City Parks is responsible for public trees and permission is required for a private service provider to remove a dead public tree. This action will submit the request to City Parks for their review.
“6. City Parks permission to treat a public tree”
Treatment of public trees requires adherence with the City Parks protocol for PSHB treatment, and permission for treatment needs to be requested. This action will submit the request to City Parks for their review.
